The invisible attribute makes a file invisible on the desktop.
The More Info option has a few extras built into it. To see what they are, try using More Info on the Finder or a MacPaint or FullPaint document.
Get Info: Pastes the file's Get Info comment (the one the Finder uses) into the text, replacing anything already selected.
Add and Edit: These require some explanation. Info... keeps an internal list of application names and document types. This allows it to "know" what documents belong to which applications and to say so in the description box. For instance, if you open a MacWrite document, Info... is able to recognize that the document is indeed from MacWrite. Whenever you open a file, either the Add or Edit button will be active (and the other one dimmed and unusable). If the Add button is active, then Info... doesn't know what to call the application or document. Click on Add to give the file a name. After you Add a name, the Edit button becomes active so that you can change the name later.
Let's try an example. Use Info... to open MacPaint up. Info... should already have a name for MacPaint, so click on the Edit button and change the name to whatever you want. Now Info a MacPaint document. Notice that the Kind: field of the description box registers the internal name you gave to MacPaint. Now click on the Edit button again. This time you'll change the internal name Info... attaches to a MacPaint document. Click OK and the description will change again.
If you decide to delete an internal name after you've entered one with the Add button, then just click on the Edit button, backspace over the entire name, and click the OK button.
